There is a village right beside kathikas called Thelectra in the bottom part of the village its amazing it was abandoned in 1953 but people are starting to do up the houses now and live there its a must see the name again is Thelectra village its down the hill the Greeks call it gado which means down in Greek the top new part of the village was built in 1953 when government moved the villagers from the bottom village up fascinating stuff

That winery has improved over the years they have added the room at back now a museum you can walk from kathikas village its so close

Kathikas village is beside where i have my house even in winter the village gets busy with tourists

I was wondering why downtime Beirut looks deserted even though it was rebuilt after the civil war ! My friendly advice for you is to go for a ride on a speedboat or why not a fishing trip especially that the exchange rate is in your favour. Do also enjoy mountain resorts next summer or winter.
